Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro First Test: A Track Monster Without Hybrid Power

The 2026 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro is the most track-focused AMG GT yet. Powered by a 603-hp twin-turbo V-8, it skips hybrid tech and delivers pure gas performance with 0–60 mph in just 2.8 seconds thanks to 4MATIC+ AWD. With Cup 2R tires, carbon-ceramic brakes, and active suspension, the GT 63 Pro shines on the track—posting a 22.2-second figure-eight lap at 0.98g, even edging out the hybrid GT 63 E Performance. It even comes close to Porsche 911 Turbo S performance while costing significantly less.

The 2025 Ford Mustang GTD is stunningly easy to drive fast, a true cheat code for both road and racetrack.
