Verne Simons

I am an automotive writer and photographer who has dabbled in paleontology, a little gator wrasslin', and even spent a little time as a college lecturer. I grew up in North Carolina, but spent lots of time traveling. I've been all over the US, as well as Europe and several countries in Africa. Through an odd set of circumstances I learned to drive in a Russian 4x4 in the Sahara Desert when I was 11 years old. It may sound fancy, but I am really just a simple guy who loves wrenching on Jeeps, exploring, cooking, being outside, and learning.
