Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo Concept Revealed

Peugeot is the latest automaker to introduce a concept car for Gran Turismo 6 on PlayStation 3. Like other concepts, the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo concept features extreme styling and near impossible power-to-weight ratio for a production car.

Powered by an 875-hp 3.2-liter turbocharged V-6, a six-speed manual sends power to all four wheels. With a curb weight of just 1925 pounds, the Peugeot Vision Gran Tursimo concept is said to have a power-to-weight ratio of just 2.2 pounds per horsepower (1 kg: 1hp). Peugeot claims the Vision Gran Turismo concept can hit 62 mph in just 1.73 seconds.

Massive Brembo brakes featuring 15-inch front and 13.3-inch rear carbon rotors slow the concept down. Those giant brakes hide behind 22-inch alloy wheels in front and 23-inch alloy wheels in back. The low slung concept is just 41 inches tall. The sleek shape is said to provide enough downforce to not need any external aerodynamic aides.
