The 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package Is Shameless Millennial Bait
They just had to paint it green, didn’t they?
Us millennials have had to contend with a variety of stereotypes. From avocado toast and offbeat lattes to the “killing” of traditional industries like diamonds (good, actually) and golf (sure?)—we’ve heard it all. As for our love for the color green? That’s probably more true than anything else about us, and the new 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package capitalizes on it.

Visually, the package brings a new exterior paint called Envious Green, as well as black 19-inch forged BBS wheels. Inside, the NuLuxe imitation-leather trimmed seats with suede inserts feature green stitching and satin chrome trim finishes everything off.
To be extra clear, the Special Appearance Package is exactly that: a special appearance package built off the IS350 F Sport. There are no mechanical upgrades, so the familiar 3.5-liter V-6 producing 311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque is present. Either rear-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic or all-wheel drive with a six-speed automatic are offered. Additional standard features for this special edition include the Handling Package, Technology Package, triple-beam LED headlights, a moonroof, a panoramic camera, powered rear sunshade, and a Mark Levinson speaker system.

Lexus is building only 350 Special Appearance Package cars for the North American market, and they are expected to hit dealerships later this year. No pricing was announced alongside the car, but we went on the Lexus website and customized a similar build for $58,285. Throw in the exclusive special edition-ness of it, and we’d ballpark the MSRP of this greenbean to be somewhere around $60,000, pending any comment from Lexus.
