The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 Packs a Hemi, Big Tires, and a Surprising Price Tag
Not only does Jeep celebrate the home of the Easter Jeep Safari, but it's also some $20,000 cheaper than the previous 392There’s no doubting that the Jeep Wrangler 392 is one of the wildest and most powerful Jeeps ever produced. When Stellantis—the parent company of Jeep—initially announced the death of the Hemi V-8 that powers the 392, Jeep decided to keep its flame alive, continuing to offer it as part of a special extended run of 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Rubicon models. Now that the Hemi’s back for good, Jeep’s making things wilder for its beast-mode Jeep thanks to the launch of the new 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392. Even better, the Hemi-powered Jeep is also far cheaper than it has been, starting at just under $82,000.

The Moab 392 is serving as the initial model of Jeep’s new ‘Twelve 4 Twelve,’ series of special edition models, with one new vehicle debuting on the 12th day of every month for a year as part of Jeep’s 85th anniversary. As the name indicates, this 392 is built as homage to Moab, the legendary off-road area in Utah where Jeeps have been roaming forever, as well as the Easter Jeep Safari, which for 60 years has been a fixture of the Moab off-roading universe.
So, what do you get besides the roaring 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 its 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque? The key upgrades hardware wise include 17-inch beadlock capable wheels, 35-inch all-terrain tires, a 4.56 axle ratio, and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time transfer case with a 2.72:1 ratio.
Inside, the 2026 Moab 392 will feature heated black Nappa leather seats, a premium Alpine audio system, and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with navigation. Outside, you’ll get a body-color hardtop, mold-in-color fender flares, rock protection sill rails, black tow hooks, and of course, a giant MOAB badge on the front fenders. Jeep’s Sky One-Touch powertop is optional along with an 8,000-pound Warn winch and all-weather mats.
Additionally, Jeep says that for every 2026 Wrangler 392 Moab it sells, it will contribute to “protecting and preserving the off-road landscapes” that its drivers love. It doesn’t go into detail, but Jeep says it will have more to share later.
The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 will cost $81,990 to start and will be available to order from your local Jeep dealer now (if you can find a Jeep dealer that will honor that by not adding a markup). If you’re super into what special Jeeps will be coming next starting on December 12, Jeep is also rolling out an ‘Operation Airdrop,’ marketing campaign series of videos and other special content, which will offer clues for what's to come part of a broader celebration of the Jeep brand and its storied history.
