Ford's 2026 F-Series Super Duty Tremor Now Gets All the Power Strokes
You can option your Tremor with the 475 hp diesel as part of minor updates to the broader 2026 Super Duty lineup. For as long as Ford has offered its F-Series Super Duty Tremor off-road trims, they have yet to be available to order with the full complement of engine options that the rest of the Super Duty models can get under the hood. That's changing for the 2026 model year as part of a number of minor updates that Ford is making across the Super Duty lineup from the F-250 on up to the F-550 chassis cab.
The F-250 and F-350 Single Rear Wheel Super Duty Tremors have been a decent, albeit large, trucks for off-roading that until now were powered by either the standard 7.3-liter Godzilla V-8 or the optional 6.7-liter High Output Power Stroke. Don’t get us wrong, there’s nothing wrong with the Godzilla's 430 hp and 485 lb-ft of torque and usually equally nothing wrong with the HO Power Stroke's 500 hp and insane 1,200 lb-ft of torque. But for 2026, you can now option the Tremor with the the 6.7-liter turbodiesel Standard Output Power Stroke V-8 engine rated at 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. That will be more than enough torque to creep along trails large enough for it to fit in, while also giving owners looking for work-level power the engine they still demand.
As for the broader updates to the Super Duty lineup, the SuperCab Short Bed is now an option, which has been a popular request by Ford Super Duty customers. This is a 148-inch wheelbase truck that comes with a 6.75-foot bed and the extended version of the truck cab, perfect for those who need the towing capacity of the Super Duty without the need to carry a crew or a ton of gear along.
Also new for the 2026 Super Duty is the Lariat Premium Package. This was added to make the Lariat Crew Cab 4WD with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke models feel more upscale by adding popular options into a single package, including Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0, running boards, power-sliding rear glass with defrost and privacy tinting, Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and Trailer Reverse Guidance.
The 2026 F-350 Super Duty with dual rear wheels will now gain the STX Appearance Package. Originally limited to the single rear wheel models, the dually will get the popular pack that comes with body-color bumpers, painted grille, STX badging, and premium interior treatment like full carpet flooring with mats, upgraded interior door panels, a 360-degree camera system, LED lighting, and automatic high-beams. You can also get your Super Duty in two new colors for retail customers: Argon Blue Metallic and Marsh Gray Metallic. For fleet buyers, Iconic Silver Metallic is a new option for ordering.
Finally, safety and connectivity highlights for the 2026 Ford F-Series Super Duty lineup include a standard tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) across all models up to the F-550 chassis cab. Ford Connectivity will also be an optional package for the Super Duty lineup that offers a WiFi hotspot to keep you connected to the apps and other internet dependent features you use. This will come as a one-time purchase good for seven years of service for retail buyers and one year for fleet customers.
