The Jeep Wrangler's Boldest Factory Paint Color Is Back—and Now Available on Gladiator, Too!

Just, whatever you do, don’t call it pink—technically, “Tuscadero” is a bright magenta.

If the 2024 Jeep Wrangler doesn’t stand out enough, Stellantis’ off-road brand is bringing back the flashy Tuscadero paint option back after storing it away for two years. While it does give the Wrangler a custom look from the factory, just don’t call it “pink.” It’s technically not pink, despite how it looks in photos. Oh, and as of spring 2024, Jeep has finally added the Tuscadero hue to the Gladiator pickup truck's option sheet.

The bright-and-wild Tuscadero color first debuted in 2021 and, according to Jeep, “some 30,000” owners ordered 2021 model-year Wranglers in this “chromatic magenta.” From that point and into 2022, Jeep offered it on the JL-generation Wrangler for an additional $395. Now, with new body updates for 2024 on the Wrangler and Gladiator, the Tuscadero paint job is back, but it will cost more than it did before. If that bright magenta is your thing, then you’ll need to put down another $895 on top of the MSRP for a 2024 Jeep Wrangler in the Sport, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and the outgoing Rubicon 392. Yes, you can order your loud Hemi JL in an equally loud color in 2024.

For now, Tuscadero will only be offered with the black hardtop, body-color hardtop, or the black soft-top JL body, but the Sky One-Touch powertop option in matching Tuscadero will be available late Q2 2024. For the Gladiator, Tuscadero is available at first on the Sport, Mojave, and Rubicon trims, but Jeep says it'll expand to other trim levels later. Regardless, this color stood out then and two years later, it will still stand out. If you miss a Wrangler in this color, you seriously need your eyes checked.

If Tuscadero's just too loud or too close to pink to be your thing, you can still get your 2024 Jeep Wrangler in other eye-catching colors such as Firecracker Red, Earl, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Hydro Blue, Bright White, and Anvil—a new for 2024 color that looks like a mix of blue and gray. Other limited-edition colors include Gobi, Gecko, Chief, and Nacho, in case you worried the Wrangler didn't offer enough choice.

This story was originally published April 4, 2024, and has since been updated to include the Tuscadero paint option's expansion to the Gladiator pickup truck's option sheet.
