In the unpredictable EV market, two electric three-row SUVs are keeping the pressure on each other with fantastic deals. And it’s a good thing, too, as the Toyota Highlander EV is on its way, not to mention the Lexus TZ.

The best EV deals should be on cars and SUVs you might actually want to drive. Because that’s the whole point with this ongoing series—we curate these deals to combine substantial savings but only on vehicles we think are worth experiencing.

A quick note on these deals: They’re correct as of publishing, but availability may vary near you. Check back next month for more EV deals.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Deal: $3,000 Off Plus 0% for 72 Months

You probably already know we really like the 2026 Ioniq 9, Hyundai’s electric three-row SUV. So we’re trying something different this month as Hyundai continues to offer this eye-poppingly-good deal.

An enormous price chasm of about $17,000 exists between the lowest-priced Hyundai Palisade Hybrid AWD trim and the least expensive Ioniq 9 with AWD. Sounds like a lot, but consider that the Palisade Hybrid is currently offered with 4.49 percent financing for 60 months to the Ioniq 9’s 0 percent for 72, plus $3,000. The gap isn’t quite as big as you might think.

2026 Kia EV9 Deal: $5,000 Off Plus 0% for 60 Months

The Kia EV9 offer is at least as good, and it might be the best deal this month. The three-row EV is being offered for $5,000 off along with 0 percent financing for 60 months. Compare that to the Telluride Hybrid, which only has 4.49 percent for 60 months and no money off.

The EV is still more expensive, but not as much as it initially appears. With gas prices as high as they are, it’s possible you’d save some of that EV premium versus the hybrid over time.

016 2023 Lucid Air Touring in motion

2026 Lucid Air Deal: Up to $6,500 Off Plus 0% for 60 Months

Some electric luxury sedan buyers focus on the BMW i5 and Mercedes EQE, but the Lucid Air deserves consideration, too. Yes, it has a few unavoidable quirks, but when it’s at its best, the Air is spectacular.

This month, the 2026 Air returns to our list of the best EV deals by offering up to $6,500 off plus 0 percent financing for 60 months on the base Air Pure and Air Touring models. That $6,500 includes a $2,000 conquest offer that assumes you own a non-Lucid vehicle.

We loved (and hated) our year in a Lucid Air Grand Touring, the top trim before you get to the bonkers Sapphire. The Grand Touring is pricier, but this month offers up to $7,000 off with 0.99 percent financing for 60 months.

002 2025 Rivian R1S Quad Max Rear Quarter Static

2026 Rivian R1S and R1T Deal: 1.99% for 60 Months

Rivian isn’t known for incredible EV deals, but a decent offer on a great SUV and truck is worth mentioning. Select R1S and R1T trims are offered with 1.99 percent financing for 60 months, and we’re taking this opportunity to explain the 2026 Rivian R1S lineup.

First up is the R1S Standard, which is still plenty quick, at a Rivian-estimated 4.5 seconds from 0 to 60 mph. Standard refers to the battery size, and the range is rated at 270 miles. That model, as well as the next level up—called Dual or Dual Large—aren’t eligible for the 1.99 percent financing. For that, you must upgrade the Dual to Dual Performance, a $5,000 premium that bumps horsepower from 533 to 665.

The Dual Performance is eligible for the special financing with or without the Max battery upgrade that boosts range to as much as 410 miles but costs $7,000. The Tri-Motor model is even quicker and offers more color choices than the dual-motor versions.

The flagship quad-motor model is slightly quicker and more capable but can be a handful to drive. It’s not eligible for the special financing, but it’s the quickest SUV we’ve ever tested. What price would you pay for bragging rights?

I’ve come a long way since I drove sugar packets across restaurant tables as a kid, pretending they were cars. With more than 17 years of experience, I'm passionate about demystifying the new car market for shoppers and enthusiasts. My expertise comes from thoughtfully reviewing countless vehicles across the automotive spectrum. The greatest thrill I get isn’t just from behind the wheel of an exotic car but from a well-executed car that’s affordable, entertaining, and well-made. Since about the time I learned to walk I’ve been fascinated by cars of all shapes and sizes, but it wasn’t until I struggled through a summer high school class at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design that I realized writing was my ticket into the automotive industry. My drive to high school was magical, taking me through a beautiful and winding canyon; I've never lost the excited feeling some 16-year-olds get when they first set out on the road. The automotive industry, singing, and writing have always been my passions, but because no one seeks a writer who sings about the automotive industry, I honed my writing and editing skills at UC Irvine (zot zot!), serving as an editor of the official campus newspaper and writing stories as a literary journalism major. At USC, I developed a much greater appreciation for broadcast journalists and became acquainted with copy editing rules such as why the Oxford comma is so important. Though my beloved 1996 Audi A4 didn’t survive my college years, my career with MotorTrend did. I started at the company in 2007 building articles for motorcycle magazines, soon transitioning to writing news posts for MotorTrend’s budding online department. I spent some valuable time in the copy editing department, as an online news director, and as a senior production editor. Today, MotorTrend keeps me busy as the Buyer's Guide Director. Not everyone has a career centered on one of their passions, and I remind myself all the time how lucky I am.
