Lamborghini’s brand identity is based in V-12 heritage, and the Revuelto celebrates that tradition while moving into the future. Introduced for 2024 as the Aventador’s successor, it uses hybridization to showcase Lamborghini’s latest thinking on performance and technology while honoring the 12-cylinder legacy that helped establish the brand as an icon among exotic automakers.
For 2027, the lineup expands with the Revuelto SV, a more powerful, lighter, and more aerodynamically focused Super Veloce variant.

What We Think
Aggressive design and 1,001-hp output suggest an intimidating machine, yet Lamborghini made the Revuelto surprisingly approachable and entertaining. On the street or track, the V-12 hybrid powertrain delivers seemingly endlessacceleration—but the experience isn’t just about speed.
The electric motors sharpen the car’s responses through torque vectoring and regenerative braking, all while highlighting a V-12 that screams to a 9,500-rpm redline. Even at low speeds, the Revuelto still feels special. Its hybrid setup allows some all-electric driving, so the dramatic bodywork can make stealthy arrivals and departures.
Inside, Lamborghini makes meaningful progress over past models, with a cabin that’s roomier and easier to live with. Even so, too many basic functions now reside in the touchscreen, and the button-riddled steering wheel takes some getting used to.
Those are minor complaints in a car like this. More than previousV-12 Lamborghinis, the Revuelto brings genuine refinement, precision, and quality. It’s a true driver’s car, not merely an angular spectacle built around a massive engine—though it’s also that.

Revuelto and Revuelto SV Hybrid V-12 Power
Like every ultimate Lamborghini, the Revuelto has a V-12 engine. Like in the Aventador, it’s a 6.5-liter mill, but this engine is otherwise all-new and debuted in the Revuelto. Hybrid assistance comes from three motors, one integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the others each powering a front wheel.
Total system output is 1,001 hp and 793 lb-ft of torque, delivered through hybrid AWD. With that, 0–60-mph acceleration for the Revuelto should take under 2.4 seconds.
The Revuelto SV turns up the output. Its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 produces 814 hp on its own and revs to 9,500 rpm. Together with three electric motors and an upgraded 7.3-kWh battery, total system output reaches approximately 1,050 hp and 1,051 lb-ft of torque. Lamborghini says the SV accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds, reaches 124 mph in 6.7 seconds, and has a top speed above 214 mph.
Does the Revuelto Have EV Range?
As a plug-in hybrid, the Revuelto has a little all-electric range. Its 3.8-kWh battery provides about 6 miles of engine-free driving.
When the engine is on and the Revuelto is in hybrid mode, it gets about 10/17 mpg city/highway—clearly, this hybrid is more about performance than efficiency.
The Revuelto SV uses a larger 7.3-kWh battery intended in part to improve sustained performance on track. Lamborghini has not announced an EV-only driving range for the SV but we doubt it will be much more than the non-SV.
Revuelto Tech Features
The Revuelto has a 12.3-inch reconfigurable digital gauge display. The 8.1-inch infotainment touchscreen controls most basic vehicle functions including climate control, and it has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There’s also a narrow 9.1-inch dashboard display for the passenger.
A 360-degree camera is optionally available. Lamborghini offers driver assists such as adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring.
The SV adds a dedicated Pilota control on the steering wheel. Pilota mode offers five stages of traction-control adjustment and is derived from Lamborghini’s GT racing experience. The SV also uses a new six-axis motion sensor and Integrated Vehicle Estimator to more precisely calculate speed, sideslip, and available tire grip and coordinate the car’s braking and vehicle-dynamics systems.
How Expensive Is a Lamborghini Revuelto?
The base price for the Revuelto is more than $612,000—before options, and there are many special paints, packages, and features to choose from. A well-equipped Revuelto could easily cost nearly $1 million.
What Does the “SV” Mean?
SV stands for Super Veloce, or “super fast,” and traditionally identifies Lamborghini’s most extreme performance derivatives. The Revuelto SV follows cars including the Miura SV, Diablo SV, Murciélago LP 670-4 SV, and Aventador SV. It combines increased hybrid-V-12 output with reduced weight, more downforce, and a track-focused chassis.
What Makes the Revuelto SV Better on Track?
Lamborghini says the SV gets 80 percent more total downforce than the regular Revuelto while improving downforce-to-drag efficiency by 60 percent. The exotic carmaker also fits manually adjustable passive dampers derived from GT racing, new CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes, and model-specific Bridgestone tires.
