Matt Taylor came of age pulling wrenches for a classic car specialist before turning his attention to the study of English lit and writing. After a few years spent teaching college he joined the MotorTrend team, where his disparate passions could finally be united. When he’s not on the clock he can often be found on a hiking trail or under an old car with an audiobook in his earbuds.
