During the Geneva motor show earlier this year, Bugatti said farewell to the Veyron by showcasing the final model, a 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. The model that has since been dubbed "La Finale" took its place on the show floor next to the very first Veyron built at the Molsheim Factory in France.

The first Bugatti Veyron was announced back in the late '90s, and many people expressed their disbelief that a model with so much power could be built and still be controllable. With the Veyron boasting around 986 hp, a top speed of 248.5 mph, and a 0-62 mph time under 3 seconds, it was easy to see why such a car would be potentially difficult to keep under control.

However, Bugatti showed that this hypercar was more than just talk. Engineers pushed the limits of physics to create a car that was not only powerful and controllable, but offered features not seen on its competitors. The Veyron had the ability to not only handle different driving situations, but also to automatically adjust its settings without any driver input to meet those situations head-on.

To celebrate the end of an era, Bugatti has released a video showing the making of the final model at the Molsheim Factory. Watch the video below to see the craftsmanship that went into creating the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale.
