Poll: Audi RS7, Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG S, or Porsche Panamera Turbo?

In ourLuxury Super Sports Sedan Comparison, we pitted three high-performance German sedans against each other to find out which one reigns supreme. The high-caliber sedans include the 560-hp Audi RS7, 577-hp Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG S, and 520-hp Porsche Panamera Turbo.

Although the CLS63 AMG S is the most powerful, the RS7 was the quickest in acceleration (0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds, quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds at 120.4 mph), while the Panamera Turbo posted the best handling numbers (skidpad: 1.03 g, figure-eight: 23.7 seconds at 0.87 g avg, and a 1:22.68 lap time at Streets of Willow).

While quantitative figures and lap times are important for 500-hp-plus cars, buyers of six-figure luxury sedans are also concerned about creature comforts and street manners. After the track session, we took the three German super sedans to the canyon roads and more mundane city streets for a full evaluation.
