Mario Torrado has a talent for replicating non-musical sounds on his guitar, including a 2004 Ferrari Formula 1 V-10 engine. On this video, Torrado provides the soundtrack as Rubens Barrichello sets the 2004 Monza pole lap record in his Formula 1 Ferrari race car.

Playing a Gibson X-plorer, Torrado is able to mimic the sounds of the V-10 race engine as it accelerates through the gears from the starting line all the way up to seventh gear. The performance even includes the appropriate number of downshifts as the car approaches each turn.

In addition to Torrado's video, he recommends watching the actual video of Barrichello's record lap on mute, while listening to his musical reenactment. It is recommended to start the actual lap video slightly before the third second of the first video.
