Check Out the New RUF Ehra’s Brown-on-Brown Interior
The seats even feature an awesome checkered “Pasha” pattern.
Dressing in monochrome is never not chic. RUF certainly got the memo, evidenced by the new RUF Ehra’s cabin that is a dream of brown on darker brown—plus the odd exposed carbon-fiber panel here and there. It’s fabulous stuff.

The Ehra is the newest model built on RUF’s carbon-fiber monocoque chassis. The hand-stitched brown leather evokes thoughts of warm milk chocolate, and it climbs over nearly every interior surface. Most striking are the seat inserts that feature a checkered “Pasha” design with alternating dark brown hues. It’s as rich to the eye as it surely is to the touch.
Other cabin materials include carbon-fiber panels and titanium pedals that will probably make anyone want to clean their shoes before stepping on them. Of course, the famous five-gauge cluster is included, prominently featuring RUF’s signature green lettering.
On the outside, the car is 58mm and 54mm wider in the front and back, respectively, as compared to the RUF CTR Anniversary. As for the name, “Ehra” is a nod to the Ehra-Lessien proving ground where the late American racing driver and Formula 1 champion Phil Hill achieved his record-breaking top-speed run in the legendary CTR Yellowbird.
Although lacking a fixed whale-tail spoiler, the Ehra wears new front- and rear-end designs. As for power, it comes from a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine that produces 650 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque, sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. There’s also a fully variable all-wheel-drive system, which RUF says makes the Ehra feel like a rear-drive car while maintaining front traction. No doubt the double A-arm suspension at each corner, with horizontal pushrod-actuated adaptive dampers, adds to how it handles and drives.
Additionally, the car’s five-spoke center-lock forged-aluminum wheels are a new design intended to improve cooling, but most important, they just look rad.
