Automakers are offering more personalization options than ever before, but Cadillac is taking things several steps further with its 2027 Escalade IQ. The brand has announced a new customization program called Curated by Cadillac, bringing the same hand-built, ultra-personal approach used for the ultra-luxury Celestiq sedan to its all-electric flagship SUV, which is MotorTrend’s reigning 2026 SUV of the Year.

Millions of Combinations to Stand Out

Cadillac says Curated by Cadillac will offer potentially millions of possible design combinations, with more than 160 exterior colors and finishes and 44 interior colors to choose from. In other words, the odds of pulling up next to an identical Escalade IQ should be pretty slim when you trim one up to your personal specifications.

But the program goes well beyond simply picking paint and upholstery. Customers who access the Curated by Cadillac program will work with a personal concierge, along with their dealer, to guide them through the design and ordering process. Each IQ will be hand-painted and hand-built, and Cadillac says every one will receive a unique VIN and an exclusive badge identifying it as a one-of-a-kind build.

Cadillac says the experience will also include dedicated design consultations to help owners narrow down the overwhelming number of possibilities. That could be useful when you have more than 160 exterior colors staring back at you. The materials and finishes used through the program will also be covered under Cadillac’s warranty.

How to Curate Your Cadillac

Like the Celestiq, every Escalade IQ ordered through Curated by Cadillac will be assembled at the automaker’s Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan. For now, the program will be offered starting with the 2027 model year IQs, with deliveries in the U.S. and Canada expected to begin in the second half of 2027.

As you might expect, this level of personalization doesn’t come cheap. The Curated by Cadillac package costs $54,995 on top of the price of the Escalade IQ itself. For reference, the 2026 Escalade IQ starts at $130,300, meaning a Curated build could easily push the total well past $185,000 before any other options are added.
