Lamborghini Revuelto Miura Homage Celebrates 60 Years of a Legend

Lamborghini is celebrating the Miura’s 60th anniversary with a special edition Revuelto inspired by the colors and design details of the car that helped define the modern supercar. Limited to just 99 examples, the Lamborghini Revuelto Miura 60° Homage will make its public debut during this year’s Monterey Car Week.

Introduced in 1966, the Miura was revolutionary for placing its V-12 engine behind the passenger compartment at a time when most high-performance road cars still had their engines up front. Its low-slung styling, dramatic proportions, and roughly 180-mph top speed helped establish the basic formula for the mid-engine supercars that followed. It also played a major role in turning Lamborghini into one of the world’s most recognizable performance brands.

The Revuelto Miura Homage brings some of those historical details to Lamborghini’s modern flagship. Buyers can choose from nine colors inspired by shades originally offered on the Miura, including Rosso Arancio, Arancio, Giallo, Verde Scandal, Verde Metallic, Blu Tahiti, Blu Notte, Nero Noctis, and Bianco Monocerus.

Two contrasting lower-body treatments are available, recalling the two-tone finishes found on many original Miuras. One combines an Oro Elios gold livery with shiny gold Altanero wheels, while the other pairs a Grigio Nimbus finish with matte titanium diamond-cut wheels. The exterior also receives Miura 60 badging, a gloss-black Lamborghini emblem, black brake calipers, and matte-black exhaust tips.

Inside, the seats feature a modern interpretation of the Miura’s distinctive “cannelloni” upholstery pattern. The leather treatment continues across the center tunnel, door panels, and rear bulkhead, while Miura 60 embroidery between the seats identifies the anniversary model. Each car also receives a carbon-fiber plaque bearing its individual number in the 99-car production run.

The special edition was developed by Lamborghini’s Centro Stile in-house design department in collaboration with Ad Personam, the automaker’s factory personalization program. Owners of original Miuras will even be able to work with Ad Personam to recreate the color combination of their own historic car, including schemes that fall outside the nine standard choices.

Mechanically, the Miura Homage appears to be unchanged from the regular Revuelto. It uses Lamborghini’s plug-in-hybrid powertrain, which combines a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 with three electric motors to deliver total outputs of 1,001 hp and 739 lb-ft of torque.

Pairing the Miura with the Revuelto connects two pivotal moments in Lamborghini history. The Miura helped establish the company’s mid-engine V-12 supercar formula, and the Revuelto carries that formula into Lamborghini’s electrified era. The result is a collector-focused tribute linking the car that shaped the company’s past with the one intended to define its future.
