The Problem: Brake pedal mounts in certain 2009 Kia Borregos equipped with non-adjustable brake pedals could break off during a crash. Certain pedal mounts may be composed of a fiberglass material that would allow them to break off during a collision, causing the vehicle to roll away if it's not obstructed. Drivers would then need to use the parking brake to stop the vehicle before a second impact occurs.
