2025 Lincoln Navigator's Price Shoots Past Escalade's, Lands In Six-Figure Territory

Lincoln’s maximal luxury vehicle, the 2025 Navigator, sees a price bump—but it's worth it.

It was only last year when Ford’s luxury arm, Lincoln, removed the rear-wheel-drive option from the Navigator and increased the SUV's price to match. But for 2025, the newly revised and four-wheel-drive-only full-size luxury SUV drops last year's entry-level Premier trim, too; that means the formerly mid-grade Reserve trim becomes the entry point to the Navigator lineup. Well, we guess it depends on what you consider “entry-level,” given the 2025 Navigator's cheapest price tag carries six figures.

You read that correctly, for 2025, the American-made Lincoln Navigator will tip the price point of its short-wheelbase Reserve trim at $101,990. While it’s not the first Lincoln to cross the six-figure mark, it’s still a very eye-opening starting figure from a Ford brand, considering the discontinued Premiere was “only” $84,660 to start—in line with the entry-level Cadillac Escalade, which starts at $89,590—in part because it still offers a cheaper rear-drive option. The least-expensive four-wheel-drive Escalade costs $3,000 more, but still undercuts the Lincoln by nearly ten grand. The Navigator's nearly $102,000 price is $4,770 more than the equivalent 2024 model-year Reserve, though we can at least see where most of that extra dough goes.

The Reserve-d Features

Like before, every Navigator is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 and a ten-speed automatic, again, paired exclusively with four-wheel drive now. The impressive and standard-issue 48-inch panoramic display comes filled with the Lincoln Digital Experience that includes blind-spot viewing when the driver hits the turn signal. When parked, the passenger can watch videos or gaming content, but that stops once the Navigator is in motion. As in the 2025 MotorTrend SUV of the Year, Lincoln's smaller Nautilus, the Navigator's big screen is augmented by an 11.1-inch touchscreen lower in the dashboard. Drivers will also be able to experience Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free Level 2 driving assistant complimentary for four years along with four years of Lincoln Premium Connectivity—Lincoln’s 4G AT&T-powered WiFi service with Amazon Alexa built-in; beyond that trial period, a subscription is required.

Occupants are also treated to a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system for truly immersive entertainment while a panoramic vista roof allows maximum natural lighting inside or not with its power sunshade. The driver also enjoys a 24-way “Perfect Position” seat while the passenger gets only a 22-way seat, but both occupants will love the auto heating and ventilation. The pair in the second row won’t get the positional options that the front occupants get, but they will have heated seats with power pitch and slide. To really put in the “spa on wheels” experience, the digital scent and auto air refresh keeps the interior smelling nicer than your average American luxury SUV.

Stretch Your Legs, or Cargo

If you need extra space for the third row or more cargo room, the Long Wheelbase (LWB) version of the Navigator, dubbed the L, is more up your alley. Springing for the Reserve L adds $2,990 to the MSRP ($104,980) but also adds an extra 14.6 cubic feet cargo volume with the powered third row seats fully upright, for a total of 37.4 cubes, up from 22.9 in the non-L. Fold those seats away and the Navigator L can hold up to 84.5 cubic feet of cargo while the standard wheelbase make do with only 69.9 cubes behind the second row.

If you want that Jet Black appearance for your luxury SUV, the Jet Appearance Package is a can’t miss for an extra $3,000 to the price tag ($104,990 for the standard wheelbase, $107,980 for the Navigator L), but the top-of-the-line 2025 Navigator is the Black Label. You’ll need to find a Lincoln dealership that has the Black Label certification, but this $118,490 (standard wheelbase) to $121,485 (Navigator L) ultra-luxury SUV adds 30-way seats up front, second row perfect position seating, rear seat entertainment, third-row heated seats, Lincoln Embrace interior lighting, a heavy-duty tow package, a body-color mesh grille with satin aluminum and front jewels, and 22-inch ebony and bright machined finished wheels.

Black Label Society

If you really want to make your Black Label special, the Special Edition package adds 24-inch high-gloss ebony wheels, black beltline molding, a unique front bumper, a unique grille, painted black roof for a two-tone treatment, black roof rack, and a black accent badge for $7,850 more. The only catch is that you can’t get it with the Infinite Black Metallic paint as the all-black paint job doesn’t allow for the unique two-tone feature other colors allow for, but you can get a nearly black-on-black exterior with the Chroma Caviar Dark Gray Metallic (a $2,000 option) or Starlight Gray Metallic ($750 option) paint.

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator and long wheelbase Navigator L are both on sale now at your local Lincoln dealer.
