The Super Duty pickups are the heavy haulers of the Ford truck lineup and ready to tow nearly anything you could dream of short of a semi-trailer’s worth of goods. For the 2025 model year, a set of new features and options have become available to further update these large F-Series trucks. The bad news is that the price reflects these changes, as the 2025 F-250 XL starts at just under $50,000 and only goes up from there—and the trucks are more expensive than before. A useful standard feature returning for the 2025 Super Duty Platinum Plus is its 2-kW Pro Power Onboard generator system. This is great for job site power without the need to drag a generator around and take up precious cargo space in the bed. Even with the extra utility, this is quite a luxurious truck with its premium features like Smoked Truffle colored Venetian Leather perforated seats with Platinum Blue French contrast stitching. It also comes with a satin finish grille with bright chrome inserts. The standard XL, XLT, Lariat, Platinum, and King Ranch trims can option for Pro Power Onboard as they could in 2024 to become rolling power stations. It's a great option for XLT or Lariat trims as those Super Duties are traditionally used as work trucks and can use the ability to power a job site.

We can’t blame someone from grabbing the standard Platinum package, either. Its interior has been refreshed with a new Black Onyx color scheme with Platinum Blue accents. This dark interior joins the black painted grille, tailgate appliqué, and body-colored door handles. The Lariat trim has also been updated with a new ActiveX synthetic material inside that joins a wrapped steering wheel. There’s also a new Black Appearance Package that now combines the original version of that optional pack along with content from the Sport Appearance Package. New and optional for the 2025 XL is the factory-installed trailer brake controller.

For those wondering about the powerplant found in the 2025 Super Duty, Ford is making do with carryover engines from the 2024 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7-liter and 7.3-liter V-8 gasoline engines. For all you Diesel Bros, the 6.7-liter turbodiesel Power Stroke V-8 is still optional for the F-250 XL.

Pricing of the 2025 Ford Super Duty starts with the F-250 XL at $47,295. The 2024 Ford F-250 XL started at $46,965, and for 2025 pricing for that trim is up $330. Stepping up to the 2025 F-350, the XL starts at $48,590 and climbs up to $81,160 for the Platinum trim. The F-450 XL will start at $61,950 and will reach a staggering starting price of nearly six figures. 2025 Ford Super Duty Pricing
