The second-generation 2024 Hyundai Kona SUV isn't exactly all-new, but it is bigger than the previous model and significantly more tech-focused and, uh, we'll just say more extravagantly styled. While pricing for gas-powered trims has been out for a few months, Hyundai just announced how much the 2024 Kona EV will set you back in its three available trims equipped with one of two all-electric drivetrains.

The 2024 Kona is available across the board as SE, SEL, and Limited trims, which come with either a 147-hp, 2.0-liter I-4 or 190-hp, 1.6-liter turbocharged I-4 combustion engines, or a fully-electric powertrain available with either a 133-hp 48.6-kWh battery pack configuration (SE) or a 201-hp 64.8-kWh configuration (SEL and Limited). A fourth trim, the Kona N-Line, is also available with only the turbo 1.6-liter setup (in either FWD or upgraded to AWD). Kona EV models can expect a range of 197 miles on the SE trim, or 260 miles on the bigger drivetrain for SEL and Limited trims.

The 2024 Kona SE comes standard with FWD and starts at $25,435 (including a $1,335 destination fee), and the Kona SE EV starts at $34,010, which is actually now $875 more affordable that the outgoing generation (for SE trims; $625 less for SEL, and $505 less for Limited). The available AWD upgrade costs $1,500 and can only be equipped on combustion-powered Konas for now; all Kona EVs are FWD. The 2024 Kona EV is not eligible for the U.S. Federal tax credit.
