2024 Ford Bronco and Raptor Updates: New Paint, Code Orange Pack, Everglades Returns
Has the manual transmission come back from hiatus? We have all the details.

Earlier this year, Ford announced it was scaling back some of its Bronco SUV production , including the very popular Everglades package that was previously offered. Ford also paused production of Broncos equipped with a manual transmission, and cut off the base trim availability.
Now there's some good news: The Everglades option has returned, along with a host of other updates for the Bronco including a new Code Orange pack, the option to add paint-matched fenders, and more. Let's break down everything new coming to the 2024 Ford Bronco and Bronco Raptor off-road SUVs this year.

2024 Ford Bronco Code Orange
Let's start with the new Code Orange pack, which is now offered on the Ford Bronco Raptor performance off-road SUV. Orange is supposed to be the "distinctive color" of the Bronco, hence its evolution into its own special appearance kit.

2024 Ford Bronco Code Orange Exterior Accents
The Ford Bronco Raptor's Code Orange pack features additional orange accents across the exterior and interior. The vehicle body adopts new graphic decals on the rear fenders, there's orange on the tow hooks, and the 17-inch Dark Carbonized Gray wheel setup features Code Orange beadlock rings.

2024 Ford Bronco Code Orange Interior
Inside, new Bronco Raptor customers equipping the Code Orange package will have the option of pairing new orange-colored seatbelts with either all-black or blue and black upholstery, which is a nice choice to have. Orange and blue naturally go well together.
"Bronco Raptor customers want to stand out with off-road performance and looks matching that capability,"said Bronco Brand Manager Matt Winter. "This new Code Orange appearance package does just that."

Bronco Raptor Painted Fenders
You may have noticed something else special about the Bronco Raptor equipped with the Code Orange package in these images provided by Ford: painted fenders. That's right, Ford has announced the Bronco Raptor will get the option of paint-matched fenders with the body color of choice for more customization. Based on the images, the rear fenders appear to get some sort of additional protection or cladding, or its simply an (intentional) patch with no paint.

Everglades Returns
Off-roading fans will be happy to hear that they can once again order a Bronco with the popular Everglades package. It features the available Sasquatch package, including 35-inch tires, locking front and rear differentials, and Bilstein shocks, as well as additional hardware like a custom snorkel, available front bumper mounted winch, and smaller changes for an improved water fording depth of up to 36.4 inches.

New Available Ford Bronco Wheels
Ford Performance has teamed up with Method Race Wheels to offer a different 17-inch wheel option for the Bronco and Bronco Sport, which is 8.5-inches wide and approved for the Ford Performance Parts Catalog. They're available separately on the Ford Accessories web store for $1,820 in four colors: Oxford White, Matte Titanium Gray, Method Bronze, or Matte Black.

Two New Paint Colors
Ford also made mention of two new paint color adjustments for the Bronco lineup, but didn't offer any images of them just yet. Still, it'd be good for you to know that the Bronco Raptor is now available in the standard Bronco and Bronco Sport's available Velocity Blue hue. Additionally, to celebrate its WWII heritage, Ford is now offering a new color called "Shelter Green," which should be a close shade to what the U.S. Army used during the war.

Bronco Birthday
Humans may celebrate every birthday, but it's rare that cars do. Still, that hasn't stopped Ford from announcing that today's new Bronco and Bronco Raptor features are part of a celebration of the model's 58th birthday. HBD, Bronco.
Another small change is that the 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4 is now standard across the Bronco lineup. Also, the existing Badlands trim will adopt its heavy duty modular front bumper as standard equipment now. Ford also promises the manual transmission will return for the 2024 model year, they just haven't announced when just yet.
