Since its debut in 1997 (as a 1998 model year), the Toyota Sienna has sold more than 2.2 million units, according to Toyota. Now in its fourth generation, the "Camry of Minivans" has transformed into a fuel efficient hybrid-only model people carrier. However, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Sienna, Toyota announced a special edition based on the XSE trim that's fitting for a silver anniversary.
The XSE is billed as an "ultra-sporty" trim of the Sienna, but the 25th Anniversary Edition is hopped up on goodies that make this ultimate people carrier. First, it's fitted with the XSE Plus Package, which adds roof rails, JBL Premium Audio, navigation, wireless charging, and a 1,500 Watt inverter to power any appliances you want while tailgating, light camping, or enjoying a day in the park. In addition to the XSE Plus Package, the 25th Anniversary Edition gets parts from the Limited trim such as memory exterior mirrors that also feature auto-dimming, integrated puddle lights, power-fold, and auto down tilt for rearward visibility while in reverse.
Inside, you get more Limited trim features like black leather-trimmed seating with silver stitching. The front seats are heated, ventilated, and have a memory function. The steering column also features a memory setting. The rear seats get a set of ottomans for "enhanced onboard comfort" while illuminated door sills are featured for the front doors along with "25th Anniversary" floor mats and keyfob cover that also has silver stitching. Finally, it will also come with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 which includes pre-collision and pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assistance, stop-and-go radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, and road sign assist.
