Don't say we didn't warn you. The 2015 Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar are special and very rare, and it appears that the automaker is having no issues selling the batch allocated for the U.S. According to Volvo's consumer website, most models are sold, while the rest are pending sales or marked as dealer demo cars.

The 2015 Volvo S60 Polestar sedan is priced at $60,225, while the V60 Polestar wagon costs $61,825. As previously reported, only 120 copies are headed to the U.S. -- the S60 accounts for 40 of those units and the rest will be V60 wagons. Both models are available in either Black Sapphire or Rebel Blue paint.
At this point, the only way to grab one would be to either snag a dealer demo or hope one of the pending sales falls through. As of this writing, 19 S60 sedans and 37 V60 wagons fall under those categories.
These Polestar-tuned Volvos are built for the track. Under the hood is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six making 345 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Other mods include an upgraded suspension system with adjustable dampers, a Brembo brake set, and a tweaked six-speed automatic transmission and Haldex all-wheel drive system.
