This week's episode (#74) of "Lowrider Garage" will feature two episodes in one as we bring you back to Texas to deliver the Quaker State '68 to a very lucky and certainly worthy winner. Then we bring you along to the 17th annual Lincoln Park Day Festival in El Paso!

You might recall this 1968 chevrolet impala, with its custom PPG paint and Chevrolet Performance drivetrain, which we documented during the process before debuting the car in front of thousands at SEMA inside the Shell/ Quaker State booth a few years back. The lucky winner is Luis Martinez, a United States Army veteran who lives in Pharr, Texas, not far from Corpus Christie.

Special Delivery

Luis' family, friends, neighbors, and Valley Life car club members were on hand to join in on all of the excitement as we presented him with his new, fully custom Impala show car. After unloading and driving the car to a huge reception area, we laid the car down in the backyard, opened the door, and handed him the keys. There's really no one more deserving than a man like Luis, who proudly served our country and lives and breathes the lowrider life. We can't wait to see him flying his car club's plaque in the back window.

During our return to the big state of Texas, we drove through San Antonio and headed west to El Paso where we hit the ground running to cover the 17th Annual Latin Pride Lincoln Park Day. Artistry and the Mexican-American car culture were on full display throughout the park. Around 4,000 people and 400 cars, bombs, bikes, trucks, and motorcycles took part in this beautiful festival.
