009 2024 Kia EV9 AWD

2026 Kia EV9 Deal: $5,000 Off Plus 0% for 60 Months

Because interest rates have gone up, this incredible deal may cost Kia more this month than it did before. Put another way, this is a smoking deal on an electric three-row that nearly won our SUV of the Year award.

We recognize this deal doesn’t create perfect price parity between the EV9 and a gas Telluride three-row SUV, but there are benefits to going electric. Acceleration is smooth and drama free, and if you’re fortunate enough to have a home-charging setup, recharging happens in the convenience and safety of your garage.

007 2026 Cadillac Vistiq

2027 Cadillac Vistiq Deal: $2,000 Off Plus 0.9% for 72 Months

OK, technically this isn’t 0 percent financing, but it’s close enough to earn a spot on this collection of the best EV deals for October. The Vistiq is Cadillac’s sensibly sized three-row SUV, one we’ve found perfectly acceptable in its lower trims and excellent in a higher trim that adds an air suspension and four-wheel steering.

The Vistiq’s main flaw is its relatively slow road-trip charging. Keep it on the daily routine, however, and it shines. A quick note on this EV deal: The $2,000 off is conquest cash that only some buyers will qualify for.

25 2026 Genesis GV60

2026 Genesis GV60 Deal: 0% for 60 Months

Although the 2027 Genesis GV60 got a price cut, this month’s deal is on the 2026 model. We still like the GV60, which serves as a nice foil to the more conventional GV70 EV. That EV looks exactly like the gas model, while the GV60 can’t be mistaken for anything else.

Our advice: If you’re already considering a GV60, do the math for the 2026 and 2027 models as they have different financing rates.

2023 Lucid Air Touring in motion 6

2026 Lucid Air Deal: $2,500 Off Plus 0% for 60 Months

A former MotorTrend Car of the Year, the Lucid Air is a great luxury car for the adventurous type. The Air is engaging to drive and luxurious while offering around 400 miles of EPA-rated range depending on trim and wheel specs.

Based on our time with Air sedan and Gravity SUV test vehicles, though, Lucid may still have work to do to convince buyers its build quality is a match for longstanding rivals.

If that doesn’t dissuade you, the Lucid Air is worth a long look. This deal is available on 2026-model-year Airs in Pure and Touring trims. Grand Touring gets more range and a slightly higher interest rate.

I’ve come a long way since I drove sugar packets across restaurant tables as a kid, pretending they were cars. With more than 17 years of experience, I'm passionate about demystifying the new car market for shoppers and enthusiasts. My expertise comes from thoughtfully reviewing countless vehicles across the automotive spectrum. The greatest thrill I get isn’t just from behind the wheel of an exotic car but from a well-executed car that’s affordable, entertaining, and well-made. Since about the time I learned to walk I’ve been fascinated by cars of all shapes and sizes, but it wasn’t until I struggled through a summer high school class at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design that I realized writing was my ticket into the automotive industry. My drive to high school was magical, taking me through a beautiful and winding canyon; I've never lost the excited feeling some 16-year-olds get when they first set out on the road. The automotive industry, singing, and writing have always been my passions, but because no one seeks a writer who sings about the automotive industry, I honed my writing and editing skills at UC Irvine (zot zot!), serving as an editor of the official campus newspaper and writing stories as a literary journalism major. At USC, I developed a much greater appreciation for broadcast journalists and became acquainted with copy editing rules such as why the Oxford comma is so important. Though my beloved 1996 Audi A4 didn’t survive my college years, my career with MotorTrend did. I started at the company in 2007 building articles for motorcycle magazines, soon transitioning to writing news posts for MotorTrend’s budding online department. I spent some valuable time in the copy editing department, as an online news director, and as a senior production editor. Today, MotorTrend keeps me busy as the Buyer's Guide Director. Not everyone has a career centered on one of their passions, and I remind myself all the time how lucky I am.
