2025 Lincoln SUVs: New Navigator and Nautilus Make Aviator and Corsair Seem Outdated
Too long a luxury laggard, Lincoln now continues to outdo itself.

Lincoln's prospects started to change when it revealed the 2020 Aviator. That SUV showed how, finally, the American automaker was putting in the effort to compete in the luxury space. Since then, Lincoln has been on a roll, producing compelling options for SUV segments ranging from compact to full-size. Nor does it appear Lincoln is slowing down, as it's reinvented the Nautilus and Navigator to be more luxurious than ever. Plus, an all-electric SUV might be on the way. Here’s everything new on 2025 Lincoln SUVs.

2025 Lincoln Corsair: What’s New
Changes to Lincoln’s smallest SUV for 2025 are all aesthetic. This year, Harbor Gray and Crystal White paints become available, and Ceramic Pearl and Silver Radiance are discontinued. A new Light Smoked Truffle interior colorway supplants last year’s Sandstone option. The Corsair Grand Touring plug-in hybrid can now be ordered with the dark-themed Jet appearance package.

2025 Lincoln Corsair: Pros and Cons
Pros
- BlueCruise hands-free driving tech works great
- Functional and attractive interior layout
- Strong turbo-four engine; PHEV’s electric range
Cons
- A little too much plastic inside
- Snug back seat
- Plush suspension makes for slack handling

2025 Lincoln Nautilus: What’s New
Fully redesigned for 2024, the Lincoln Nautilus enters 2025 with a few updates. Outside, Whisper Blue replaces Blue Panther paint. Inside, the Light Smoked Truffle upholstery colorway can be paired with the Jet appearance package. Additionally, the Lincoln Rejuvenate audio-visual relaxation experience is included on more trims. The midrange Nautilus Reserve trim now includes a four-year trial subscription to Lincoln’s BlueCruise hands-free driving system.

2025 Lincoln Nautilus: Pros and Cons
Pros
- Beautiful interior design and materials
- Huge and useful dashboard-spanning digital display
- Supremely relaxing driving experience
Cons
- Big wheels lead to more noise and harshness
- Slightly grabby brake pedal in hybrid model
- More power in base engine would be nice

2025 Lincoln Aviator: What’s New
Introduced in this generation for model year 2020, the Lincoln Aviator gets an extensive refresh for 2025. Most apparent among the changes is the front end, which takes on a much larger grille and reshaped headlights. New paint and wheel choices are also offered. More substantially, the 2025 Aviator gains a lot of standard equipment that was optional before. Among those are a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and adaptive suspension dampers. The gauge cluster display and infotainment touchscreen become larger (though still not as large as in the Nautilus or Navigator) and have new software running behind them. All versions of this Lincoln SUV now come with a four-year trial subscription to BlueCruise hands-free driving tech.

2025 Lincoln Aviator: Pros and Cons
Pros
- Powerful standard twin-turbo V-6 engine
- More standard equipment than before
- Legitimately luxurious interior
Cons
- Might’ve looked better before this refresh
- Higher starting price than before
- Interior looks outdated compared to Nautilus, Navigator

2025 Lincoln Navigator: What’s New
The largest Lincoln SUV enters its next generation for 2025. Although the new Navigator uses the same V-6 powertrain and a modified version of the same chassis as before, extensive changes to its design and amenities distinguish it from the outgoing model. Certainly the most eye-catching feature is the huge digital display spanning the dashboard, which is supplemented by a standard 26-speaker audio system. A variety of scents are available for the interior aroma diffusion system. Providing space for three rows of passengers remains a focus; available heated and ventilated second-row captain’s chairs get a wireless charging pad in the console between them. Lincoln touts the new Navigator’s split-opening tailgate as a benefit to utility. Wheels up to 24 inches in diameter are available. It’s all part of Lincoln’s effort to solidify its position as a legitimate contender in the luxury SUV arena.

2025 Lincoln Navigator: Pros and Cons
Pros
- Bold, statement-making design
- Interior full of luxury materials and tech features
- Should offer great three-row functionality
Cons
- Carryover powertrain and chassis
- Subscription-based amenities are a bit irksome
- So much better than new 2025 Ford Expedition?

2025 Lincoln Star: What to Expect
Given the EV-intensive focus of parent company Ford, we’re somewhat surprised we haven’t seen an electric Lincoln SUV. That might not be far off, though. Lincoln showed off the Star, a concept crossover that could preview Lincoln’s first EV. If the Star concept becomes reality, expect it to have a dual-motor AWD powertrain, about 300 miles of range, and fast-charging capability. No doubt it’ll have all of Lincoln’s latest amenities, such as a huge widescreen display, ultra-adjustable front seats, and advanced hands-free driving tech. The production version of the Star could arrive late in 2025 as a 2026 model—if it arrives at all.

- 2025 Lincoln Nautilus: Minor update
- 2025 Lincoln Aviator: Significant update
