Unique Atlantis Blue Metallic paint job dazzles attendees once again
The JP Edition Hyundai Genesis Coupe Turbo was among the favorites at the Hyundai SEMA booth, not only because it was sporting John Pangilinan’s signature Atlantis Blue Metallic paint from BASF paint, but because the car featured everything from an AEM cold air intake with ARK Performance exhaust and turbo downpipe, to blackened headlights, fog lights, and KW Variant Coilovers. Engine modifications were kept to a minimum keeping the entry-level tuner in mind.
Other details included racing wheels in the rear wrapped in Toyo tires, Brembo brakes for stopping power that were custom painted, APR carbon-fiber front splitter along with Seibon carbon fiber side skirts, and custom V-LED headlights.
The interior featured Recaro Sportster seats that were rewrapped with catskin interior materials leather and suede, along with a custom harness bar and Takata racing harnesses.
After SEMA JP wants to take the car to CES, Formula Drift, and Wekfest to get as much exposure as he can. Due to JP’s show-stopping build, we have a feeling he won’t have any problems attracting the appropriate coverage.
