2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Expert Review
Reviewed by Zach Gale
The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe has good bones. Look beyond the Coupe model's updated design and you realize the Porsche starts with what's important: it shares the more conventionally styled Cayenne's good driving experience.
There are, however, a few changes: The 2026 Cayenne Coupe has less space inside due to that faster-sloping roofline, and an exclusive $200,000-plus Turbo GT model with a 190-mph top speed is on offer. You could compare a car like that to a Lamborghini Urus, and we have.
More down-to-earth rivals include fastback SUVs like the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Audi Q8, and Polestar 3.
What's New
Minor changes come to the 2026 Cayenne Coupe, starting with more standard features:
- Updated USB-C ports can share power across two ports to offer 60 watts
- Every SUV gets 10 years of Porsche Connect, which connects you to your car's features. The system also allows you to add new apps to the infotainment system
- A four-year data pass is newly standard
- Amazon's Alexa digital assistant is included
New, optional add-ons can enhance style and your commuting experience:
- Dolby Atmos tech comes to Cayenne's equipped with Bose or Burmester sound systems. With this tech, sound quality is improved when you use audio sources that support it
- The Cayenne Turbo GT's 22-inch GT Design wheel can now be selected in new colors. In total, the single wheel design is offered in nine colors including black, gray, blue, brown, and red
What We Think
We could tell you about how much fun the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe is to drive from the bottom of the lineup to the top. We could share our admiration that Porsche does what BMW and Mercedes don't: offers not one but two hybrids in its midsize coupe-like SUV.
But here's what it comes down to: the design. How does the 2026 Cayenne Coupe's design make you feel? Because unless you're driving the incredible, Lamborghini-challenging Turbo GT V-8 model, all of the Cayenne Coupe's goodness can be found in the non-Coupe model, just with more space inside.
Other Competitors to Consider:
